February 5, 20233 yr For the life of me, I can't figure it out. Have searched both Google and AVSIM, but no joy.
February 5, 20233 yr From the CJ4 user guide https://msfs-cdn.azureedge.net/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/Cessna-Citation-CJ4-User-Guide-v1.pdf Pg 7-12 All functions of the MFD are controlled via the CCP (Cursor Control Panel) below (except map range and BRGpointers which are controlled from the DCP Pg 7-5 see rightmost rotary on the DCP "range"""

My question is about the Citation. I will try some more googling?
February 5, 20233 yr Sorry. I had assumed you meant the Citation CJ4 because the above is not obvious and I had also spent a lot of time looking for that info. Good luck! PS and totally off-topic: Why not try www.ecosia.org instead of Google? Same performance and a bit of help for the climate...

They are both Citations! For the Longitude MFD it's the left most knob on the controlling GTC screen. Turn it to Zoom in & out Press it to Pan the map (when panning zoom goes to the cursor) Move it left & right to change the window it controls (Cyan border is the left GTC, Magenta is the right). February 6, 20233 yr @PDX Flyer In the Longitude, If you split the PFD view to include a map, then the far right-hand GTC touch screen unit for the co-pilot will control the zoom on that display. There may be another easier way, but that's the only one I found so far. Edited February 6, 20233 yr by Redge

February 6, 20233 yr Cheers @Gazzareth, not sure why I missed that one. I'm not at the sim now, but I could have sworn that I tried that already, only to find that it zoomed the inset map, or traffic map but not the second pane, even if I selected the right-hand pane. Last time I tried was on the beta, rather than release version. Not sure if there was ever a bug related to this? Anyway, enough of my excuses! I'll try again today.

I am sure I told them there was a bug before it was explained to me. Key to it is the colour of the border to show which of the central GTC's controls which window. Think the pilot's PFD controller only does the inset map.... G Gary Davies aka "Gazzareth" Simming since 747 on the Acorn Electron

Just like about everything in life, if you know the tricks, most everything is easy. It's just about learning the tricks.
