February 28, 20233 yr Westerns dominated the movie screen (along with romance and musicals) from the silent era to talkies. Western movies spawned the early TV shows like Bonanza, Have Gun will Travel, Rawhide, Wagon Train, and a dozen others. But Star Wars ushered in a new genre which spawned TV shows like the Star Trek series. These replaced the westerns of my generation to the space movies and TV shows of the current generations. And, faithful to my generation, I would rather watch a good western than the latest Star Wars movie. Although I have to admit to being a Star Trek fan. And Westworld was a pretty good mix of a western and sci-fi. Noel Noel The tires are worn. The shocks are shot. The steering is wobbly. But the engine still runs fine.
