Has anyone else noticed that the trim wheel sounds in the 737 with normal flying on AP are totally silent.?  

It's definitely not totally silent as I've heard it when on AP, but I've gotten so used to the sound I don't really notice it much anymore and honestly can't tell right now how much it makes sounds.

I can't confirm. Just did a flight and on approach the trim wheel made very clearly the usual sound.

I can clearly hear the trim wheel from time to time.   Unless I have headphone sim on.

If you have Headphone Simulation (MSFS settings General-->Sound) to "ON" then you won't hear it.  PMDG recommends Headphone Simulation be "OFF" for their 737.
