You're definitely right with this, and I was more referring to add ons in general - the community folder probably hosts most of my add ons. Troubleshooting with add ons, as I took from the above link, did help me with ctd's I had one or two years ago. I could clearly identify the issue and got rid of the culprit. At least for me, it wasn't nonsense at all. Could have been a lucky coincidence. It does not have to be the airports you actually fly to, but ANY airport you loaded into MSFS (community folder and official folder, including all ORBX, Contrail etc. stuff). Most devs are aware of this conflict by now and avoid it during development, but some still are not. You have to do this after every scenery update because the updates regenerate the conflict. In general I recommend to use AddonLinker to only load the airports you use for a given flight to minimise the risk of missing an updated "offender". Where is this located in the addon linker app ? MSI Tomahawk Z790, I7-13700K, DDR5 6000mhz, MSI 4090, 3x SSD 980 PRO, Corsair 360 Liguid CPU cooler, Corsair H1200V2 power.

Took off from inibuilds EGLL with FSLTL and default live weather. First time since starting to use the sim a few months ago. Have just installed the latest SU. Did you recently connect a bluetooth device to your pc, e. g. a keyboard? I had exactly the same kind of ctd for weeks and after a lot of frustration I was finally able to predict when that would happen: my bt keyboard went into sleep mode after 10 minutes, pressing the first button then, the bt keyboard woke up, froze the sim while the sound was still playing for minutes and finally a ctd. Now I'm back with a wired keyboard and never saw that problem again.
