March 11, 20233 yr PART ONE I fly with Saitek Pro Pedals, Yoke, Trim Wheel, Throttle Quad, Multi Switch Panel. All binders are set and work wonderful for the planes in the sim and a couple freewares. I just bought the Flysimware C414 and TDS GTNxi. What a great combo, perfect. Except. What I found out is that if I click any switch on my Saitek multi switch panel, it immediately flicks off the Avionics (the avionic bus switch in the C414 gets turned off) and of course my GTN gauges and I lose my flight plan and of course my nav/gps. I can immediately use the in cockpit switch to turn the TDS GTNs back on. But I have lost my flt plan. This is unbelievably annoying. Means I can't turn on my taxi lights, landing lights, nav lights, strobe etc from my panel without lose of avionics. I'm not sure if this is somehow linked to some obscure binding or something like this Has anyone got some insight into this problem? PART TWO This is a broader issue. I like to use the pop out gauges, and I like to move the weather and ATC drop-downs over to my second monitor. If I start to "play" around with the weather say, cloud layers or time of day, in the modules, whatever, my yoke and rudder pedal decouple from their bindings. I am flying without controls. I found that I could pause, (escape) for 30 seconds and then resume, and my bindings would be reconnected. What is that all about? Anyone, with similar experience? Or knows how it might be fixed? I was using the full start up procedure inside the cockpit and totally forget that my avionics switch was not turned on. So when I engaged any other switch from my multi-switch, it say my avionics switch was not one and shut down the planes switch. Boy do I feel dumb, so as soon as I ensure my avionics switch is turned on I'm good to go, no more issues. Bryan Wallis aka "fltsimguy" Maple Bay, British Columbia Near CAM3

Yes I can pull the USB and replug in, provided I haven't yet crashed and it reconnects. But this does not resolve the bigger issue, as soon as I start "messing" with the drop down menus again, for some reason, I loose my flight controls for a period. As I mention if I just escape out for a short while, they reengage. Bryan Wallis aka "fltsimguy" Maple Bay, British Columbia Near CAM3

Yes agreed, I have a 10 port UBS 3 power hub. But I also have a number of other things plugged in and at times going, so perhaps I'm getting a power drain or something, I will have to explore this some more.
