Are we too fast to judge? From what I understand Maul has it quirks :

I'm reading pilots reviews of actual Mauls and here is an interesting  thing:

"Sometime before I bought my SC, I flew a 180 hp M-7. With 3 aboard and full fuel (we were overgross by a few  ), I felt the plane was too sensitive in pitch and heavy in roll. We only flew about a half hour, but enough for me to feel it was not the plane for me. With more experience I might feel different and I definitely like the side door for loading stuff."

I see some people complains about it, but appears to be a feature or real airplane

I just liked the glass doors, it was different.
