Darkstar mach 10 problem

Featured Replies

hi all, I'm new to the forum and I wanted to know if by chance anyone has happened that with the Darkstar in real time mode the eas speed disappears making it impossible to get to mach 10, I have to use a preset mode like sky mode calm to ensure that there is no this problem, can someone more informed than me tell me if some third-party creator intends to create another Darkstar or maybe Asobo decide to solve it, because this problem has been going on for a year

I've never flown it, but doesn't one have to  do a maneuver involving "inverted" flight? Like I said I've not flown it. YouTube can be your friend.

yes, I saw and in fact I can operate the scarm jets the problem is that I lose eas speed and by doing so it takes away 2/300 knots of real speed, but only if I play in real time otherwise this does not give me problems with open skies or other scenarios

Because this plane is such a work of fiction, I doubt the programming knows how to deal with real time weather, thats why it probably works well for you in clear skies.

Make sure you have throttles mapped to all 4 engines, or a single master throttle axis.  I have split throttles on a HOTAS that was mapped to throttles 1 and 2.  In the cockpit, it only looks like a 2 engine airplane, but it's programmed as 4 engines.  I couldn't get above about mach 3.8.  Once I mapped throttles to all 4 throttles, I easily got to mach 10.

The few times I messed with it, I was able to get it to Mach 10, including flying it outside of the provided TG scenario where I always fly with live weather on.
