The easiest way to make these happen is by choosing a weather preset and setting cloud density to max. You hardly see this in live weather.

@turbomax Are you sure you're playing the same sim the rest of us are? I have to wonder.

 

 

Have you never broken through a cloud deck in MSFS? How have you never seen the change in brightness?
