June 12, 20232 yr So I recently just got a new monitor that supports HDR and it is fantastic! One thing I did notice is that now when I take screenshots in MSFS all of the photos seem to be extremely over exposed as you can see below. Does anyone know of a work around for this? I would hate to have to turn off HDR just to get screenshots! I have a steel series keyboard and have remaped the Print Screen button when playing MSFS to be the shortcut to the XBox gamebar for this. June 12, 20232 yr Author Hey so I tried using Xbox game bar for screenshots and every time I try to screenshot nothing happens, I set up a key bind for game bar and it's no doing anything. As far as NVIDIA goes, I tried to take screenshots but it doesn't apply my in game NVIDIA filters so my photo is very dull.. June 12, 20232 yr It should have fly out window saying Screenshot saved. What happens when you use the capture button on the gamebar? 9950X3D, PNY 5090, 64GB DDR5 6000, MSI X870-P, GIGABYTE AORUS Gen5 2TB NVMe, 3440x1440 AW3423DW gsync ultimate.

I was able to get the game bar to work and take my screenshots and they save them in HDR mode perfectly! NOW! The issue im having is every time I take a screenshot my sim feels like it lost half its frames, I have to click into the settings menu and back in and it sorts its self out. This is my next battle to fight! 😞 Jay| PPL ASEL || Ryzen 7 7800x3D | MSI GeForce RTX 4090 Gaming Trio 24Gb | ASUS X670E-E ROG Strix | 64GB G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB DDR5-6000 | x2 32' 4K | Windows 11

I am just guessing here. 9950X3D, PNY 5090, 64GB DDR5 6000, MSI X870-P, GIGABYTE AORUS Gen5 2TB NVMe, 3440x1440 AW3423DW gsync ultimate.
June 13, 20232 yr I on my PC now (was on my phone) and I see your signature. I see that you do have more than one NVME drive and a much better system than me. The only thing I can think to try is watch your task manager and see how much the disk usage occurs when taking a screenshot. Could it be antivirus scanning both files (png and jxr) when they are saved? Do AV programs even scan image files? You could try excluding that directory from being scanned. 9950X3D, PNY 5090, 64GB DDR5 6000, MSI X870-P, GIGABYTE AORUS Gen5 2TB NVMe, 3440x1440 AW3423DW gsync ultimate.
June 13, 20232 yr Author Its seems that a PC reboot solved the lagging issue for me, if anything else pops up I'll post in the thread. Thank you all for your help and suggestions!
