June 28, 20232 yr Author Real World Weather has been a great mission generator as is a new airport scenery somewheres, East Coast weather where I am has been marginal to dreadful for days. Lot of rain, low cloud and poor vis. Tried it out in the C206 - that was interesting, The Baron - very nice spent a lot of time in cloud and rain looking for somewhere to get down that day across the coast from Mount Washington, Retreated to New South Wales Australia and mooched about in the Dash 8 100, the King Air C90, The weather and light management has been very accomplished indeed, Sim is matching reality conditions fastidiously with haze, showers, drizzle and a very wet looking atmosphere, Makes finding and doing a circuit in some of these country airports challenging - they become non descript in the scenery and hard to find, Again the fractional data reality produces a wonderfully scaled facsimile of the physical world. Did not see any major change with SimHeaven Oceania and Australia 3,0 that I was expecting re double story buildings and height, Bit less cluttered perhaps, Still an outstanding layer to the XPlane World,
