Thanks,I don't know how I missed it either. I always love using Rien's aircraft. His last two have been superb acquisitions for me, I've been looking forever for an Arrow and Seminole. There are a couple payware seminoles out there, I tried the old FSD one but was disappointed with it. I haven't tried Just Flight's.Quick Review:I had to comment out the the DSD gauge sound gauges from the panel.cfg file, as it caused FSX to crash on my system. Interestingly, I still heard the gear go up and down (which appears to be the only sound that is created by the gauge). It's probably just an installation problem with the gauge, I'll have to check that out later. It aliases the default baron sounds, so if you don't install your addon aircraft to your SimObjectsAirplanes directory, you'll have to modify your sound.cfg file appropriately.Absolutely GORGEOUS VC panel! Very, very nice work Rien. It is fully clickable and usable, with tooltips for the gauges. He also made the yokes and their shafts semi-transparent to make the panel more readable. This should be easily changeable if you'd rather have solid yokes. He also included regular 4x3 and "wideview" 16x9 versions of the 2D panel, to get rid of the oval gauges problem on widescreen monitors so prevalent today; as well as vfr and ifr 2D panels, too. He did an awesome job on the 2D panels as well. But I fly strictly VC.I get the feeling that Rien flies mostly in 2D panel mode, however, (or perhaps he has other things to do on top of designing such nice aircraft for us!) as the interior leaves a bit to be desired. The walls and floor and seats are all painted in the same monotone color, making it look very flat inside. And, unfortunately, Rien apparently chose to just map a small swatch to paint all this, so this won't be fixable in the current state. Perhaps Rien could be convinced to fully map some textures to the floor and walls so somebody else can paint these more convincingly? Please, Please? :-)I don't have any experience flying Seminoles, but it seems to fly nicely, lifts off the runway easily at 80 knots, maneuvers smoothly in the air. Rien included very detailed checklist and reference files (Thanks Rien!!), I'll check how it flies by the numbers later.Unfortunately, my only real complaint - installing it did nothing for those stupid brown ground textures that ACES designed for use in 3/4 of the year. Since when does grass turn brown in the fall??!!???? Will somebody PLEASE fix this!Overall, a VERRYYY nice airplane, one which will be staying in my stable as a regular customer. Here's a couple of pics:P.S. It would be nice to see some of you "professional" repainters out there redo some of these textures, they have room to be much more detailed than they look here.http://www.flyingscool.com/files/Reviews/S...e/Seminole1.pnghttp://www.flyingscool.com/files/Reviews/S...e/Seminole2.pnghttp://www.flyingscool.com/files/Reviews/S...e/Seminole3.pnghttp://www.flyingscool.com/files/Reviews/S...e/Seminole4.pngThomas[a href=http://www.flyingscool.com] http://www.flyingscool.com/images/Signature.jpg [/a]I like using VC's :-)N15802 KASH '73 Piper Cherokee Challenger 180

Now that the words out we'll hopefully see some repaints. I've been working on some panel mods, one with RXP's FLT, FLN, GNS packages, the other full glass like the new ones.

I am the original poster and the reason I missed this in the Avsim files is because it is listed under FS2004 and I have been only looking at FSX files .Thanks,Ron

Well, I heard from Rien; unfortunately, if that's the right term, he's working on releasing 2 other planes and a couple of other projects, so this one is as is for the foreseeable future. Anyone else want to take him up on his offer to get the source and add proper interior textures to the floors and walls? I might be able to get some pics this week of a Seminole interior.Thomas[a href=http://www.flyingscool.com] http://www.flyingscool.com/images/Signature.jpg [/a]I like using VC's :-)N15802 KASH '73 Piper Cherokee Challenger 180
