i assume you are trialling V6 stock airports alongside "traffic----".bgl's that worked in V5.

when you index, did you see any oddities in the err.log file.

& i guess the other question is do the same traffic.bgl's work with the sim's AI controller.

i also ask if the *.dat* files compiled are similar (size) to V5 ones.

I have ORBX global sceneries -no payware airports. Also have the AIG traffic installed which are used by Voxatc in v6 but erratically.

Funnily during installation the indexer used the v5 scenery folder and files folders but the v6 simobjects folder with the registry hack in place.

The ATC works fine but AI taxi control is borked-I've seen aircraft land without issues so any workaround suggestions would be welcome

Do you have a Prepar3d v5 Scenery and Prepar3d v5 Content folders in your Hkey_local registry?

I did this too and the installer hung at the indexer but continued after I just closed the former and ran the indexer and panel set up again separately without issue.

ATC works fine...

However the AI still do not taxi.I tried disabling OrbX but that has made no difference.

i assume you are trialling V6 stock airports alongside "traffic----".bgl's that worked in V5.

when you index, did you see any oddities in the err.log file.

& i guess the other question is do the same traffic.bgl's work with the sim's AI controller.

i also ask if the *.dat* files compiled are similar (size) to V5 ones.

I've reinstalled Vox (as the indexer was hanging at various points) and realised that after renaming the folders and the registry tweak (NOT the Local machine settings to content and scenery-doing this after the install and before reindexing works),the installer creates a new Prepard v6 folder with simobjects and gauges which need to be copied into the proper Sim folder after correcting the renames.

ALSO it created a new "Documents/Prepar3d v5 addons" folder in the root of C!! which contained the makerwys file and a "gauges" folder containing navigraph symlink!I copied these to the PRepar3dv6 addons folder.Then changed the paths in the local machine keys and

 the indexer ran perfectly after this!!

Hope this helps someone in future (or me when I'm stuck and need to remember what I did!)
