July 21, 20232 yr Quote The Isles of Scilly form an archipelago off the southwestern tip of the Cornish peninsula of Great Britain. St. Mary's airport is the main connection to the mainland by air and operates through out the year. Saw this scenery referenced somewhere and was intrigued. It's inexpensive and beautifully made, and allows you to fly to the horizon in a fully custom environment. So we start our little tour at St. Mary's airport with a nice early cuppa, the Wilga prepped and waiting outside. Runway 32 is an up-and-over, the Wilga doesn't require the -over part and just gets going We do a sweep over the old town, the harbour and Oliver's Battery, all very nicely crafted. To the NW, Appropriately named Round Island has a beautifully made lighthouse, one of 3 in the area. Should you fly here toward evening the rotating light will periodically light up your aircraft. Too much to explore in one topic, we return to base. Great fun in the Wilga. Edited July 21, 20232 yr by WingZ

July 21, 20232 yr Just magnificent. Your "smaller" shots are little gems that would shine even more if enlarged.
