July 21, 20232 yr Hello, Wondering if anyone has any issues with PMDG 737-800 when it come to Failures?? Well, I Still have. Despite MSFS updates & PMDG update. Also, I have un-installed MSFS 2020 and re-installed it and also un-installed PMDG 737-800 and re-installed it. I still have Failures automatically appear when I have ALL Failures OFF in both MSFS and PMDG 737-800. I have notice when I takeoff I have seen the switch activate by itself without me doing anything, specially the : A sys qty refill req and the past 2 days also has been the tire and brakes sys. It just activates by itself. I have search for a fix and I found that in some forums say that if you delete .hours file it fixes itself, but for me it didn't. Another was to go to maintenance and to clear active, clear all, and service all and still no fix. I never had this issues before so I don't know what happened. Is there something I'm missing or doing wrong?? Is there a fix and How can I fix it?? I appreciate for any help or solution to this....Thanx very much. Edited July 21, 20232 yr by Whisper202
July 21, 20232 yr You'd be better off going to the PMDG forums https://forum.pmdg.com/. The developers are there or you could submit a support ticket.

Well you say you have failures off, but do you have failures armed? Random failures? Check all the menu points in the FMC in regards to that. Failures every time after takeoff sound like it's an armed condition. For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

July 21, 20232 yr I may be wrong about this, but tires, engine oil, and hydraulic fluid levels are maintenance items that are not handled by the failure system in the PMDG 737 products. You can access maintenance items on the CDU at MENU > FS ACTIONS > GROUND MAINTENANCE. There you will see two pages of items that include tire or brake replacement, and hydraulic or engine oil servicing. Again, it has nothing to do with the failure system. Good luck and have fun. It's both. E.g. engine oil can be depleted over time as a maintenance issue, but also as a failure like a leak. For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord.
