Does anyone have this product for P3D vv4- v5+ or v6? I thought about getting it but there is so little info about it and almost no screenshots. (P3D v5 version has 2 screenshots and P3D v6 has 1 screenshot)

I have my own water and it's free. I can give you link and believe me, mine is 1000 times better than this guy that wants 12 dollars for his " creation", no thank you. To create water texture for P3D is very simple task.

this is from a guy who changes his company name regularly, i know of at least 3 times its changed in the past 12mths

the facebook groups have hammered his products and many have labelled him a scam.

I was tossing up on getting his water a while back and saw many of the facebook comments about his products and avoided it

OMG...it is ABSOLUTELY AWFULLLLLL !!!

I was hoping to get something like the water fx in UTX....but all I got was a 'psycadelic' shimmer on just the MAIN

waterways !!! It looks REALLY bad.

Shame on Simmarket for selling this...

@PavlinS can you please post the link to your free water enhancement?  I really want to try it and I don't see a link anywhere.

 

Turns out I purchased a water enhancement package from a developer named Aviationly a while back but never tried it (I don't remember buying it), which is a different one than the one by Azrsim.  Funny thing I notice is that it's not even available for sale on simmarket anymore though I can still access the install file in my simmarket purchased downloads list.

I strongly suggest you make backup before that. 

 

The folder is Prepar3D main folder / Texture. 

Backup those files there:
OceanHeight20FieldHigh.dds , OceanHeight20FieldLayer.dds , OceanHeight20FieldLayer1.dds , OceanHeight20FieldLayer2.dds , OceanHeight20FieldLayer3.dds , OceanHeight20FieldLayer4.dds , OceanHeight20FieldLayer5.dds , OceanHeight20FieldLow.bmp  and OceanHeightField.bmp

Then you can replace the texture with the zip file in the link. Btw, they are called the same so you have to overwrite them. 

And enjoy.

Btw, guys, want to warn you - my water texture is looking well not only because of the colors and stuff - I use Tomato Shade, Reshade and custom sky textures. I tweak this water texture mostly in Tomato shade to look that well. So, if you are not a user of Prepar3D v4.5 HF3 then in your sim won't look the same way as mine. Unless you use for example Pascal sky textures [  mine are other ones, but I won't advertise them, because the person is thief] and Reshade Sc Temperate from LiveCockpits. Those ones change the colors significantly. 

 

Be aware, Tomato Shade does not work with v5. Nor v6. If you are using Envtex and Envshade, be aware, they might change this texture appearance as well.

Thanks for the advice.  I'm actually use P3Dv5 with RDShade and REX sky textures.  Seems like I'm in the minority, most P3Dv5 users seem to prefer the TOGA products.  I'm sure I can get it looking really nice with a little tweaking of the RDShade settings.
