I am indeed but the choice of aircraft or location doesn't seem matter in my case (already tried default aircraft in the middle of nowhere). There's a consistent macro (not micro) stutter that forces the sim to completely lock up for a second, within a time frame of 15-20 seconds, despite the sim otherwise running at 100+ fps.

Very odd behavior so I'm back on the stable branch until this bug gets sorted out. For reference, I'm on a 7800X3D and RTX 4090. DX12 and FG enabled. Photogrammetry is disabled. Nvidia driver version makes no difference.

I have the same specs as you. And i also worried about this becouse it is unflayable in this state. i also rolled back to stable version becouse of that. we have to keep investigating becouse is not a general fault that occurs to everyone.

Since it isn’t happening to everyone, it will probably be harder to track down by Asobo, they’ll have to recreate it on their end first.

So hopefully everyone experiencing it is giving them as much detail as possible (hardware specs, software running etc). It will be hard for them to diagnose if no one is telling them the required information.

SU13 is currently scheduled for the 21st, so it’s still a few weeks out.

there is a lot of people complaining about this issue in the official forums so i dont think this macro stutter every 10-20seconds should be overlooked before the final version is released.

This is a question to my VR user friends. I was away from my Sim machine for a week and just loaded beta 1.34.11.0. I made a short tour in my beloved Sting under VR and noticed that the Sim did NOT escape to the menu immediately after shutting down the engine.

Was this just a hiccup or did Asobo really resolve this major VR immersion breaker?

Kind regards, Michael

I'm not on the beta but for reference the shutdown bug doesn't happen all the time, just most of the time....and yes it is incredibly immersion breaking and likely will never get fixed by Asobonobugfix
