With the Navigraph Charts subscription you'll have all this information at hand for planning your flight, and they're becoming more integrated with SimBrief after the latest update. Won't fly without Navigraph

Agreed. You can find charts for different countries by poking around, but for what, $9 a month you get all Jepp charts for the whole world.

Navigraph is hands down the best.  I pay 82 Euro per year. 6.83 EUR a month... and yeah it's totally worth it.  I tried all the free ones including sky vector, flightaware, a few others and just googling approach charts but it was always a chore.  I decided to bite the bullet during a sale and have never looked back even at full price.   The Simbrief intergration is fantastic, you have everything you need in your generated flight plan window.  Its also really fantastic to have Navigraph charts in the cockpit.  For me there is something wierdly satisfying about not having to change windows or have second device.  I especially love it for taxing and last minute runway changes.  Now if only PMDG can get this word not allowed EFB finished.

I'm not sure you should be planning an ILS approach as part of your flight plan anyway.

I think the best way to fly IFR is to not have an approach in your flight plan, and wait for one to be assigned by ATC when you arrive.  At least this is how it normally works in the real world... and in-game ATC supports this.

Unfortunately, ATC in the sim can pick a random approach, and not necessarily one based on real-world weather or active runway usage, but at least you're going through the motions of entering and loading your approach on arrival.

Then use Navigraph, ideally on an iPad or tablet or somehow in game, to consult the approach charts so you understand what you're about to do.

If you add an approach to your flight plan, ATC will not change it, and you're missing out on that whole aspect of loading and activating your approach on arrival.

Navigraph totally worth the monthly fee. airinc updates , simbreif integration and charts just getting better and better , no brainer for me , a few clicks and your set up for the flight ( fenix anyway)
