Greetings. 
I am looking for a motorized B737 TQ. Looks like there not many companies who make it. I am wondering if anyone has experience with 737TQ from “Cockpit For You”. They have several different options available for acceptable price.

I actually had the motorized TQ from Cockpit For You. However, I returned it after a short while. It's not a bad product overall, but the problem for me was that the motor system makes it very hard to move the throttles manually to the point I was having real trouble flying manual thrust as it required way too much force to move the levers. I wasn't able to adjust thrust sometimes, especially making small corrections, from a normal seating position due to the heavy resistance, and the whole quadrant would sometimes topple forward when pushing the levers. I just couldn't fly in manual thrust, and taxiing, setting takeoff power and pulling idle during flare was also way too hard. Another thing was that the TQ is pretty big and too high compared to the real plane.

This was years back however, so perhaps there are newer models with changes. After returning it I ordered a non-motorized one from FSC in Italy instead, which I'm using to this day. They also have a motorized version.

I had a motorized TQ v3Silver  from "Cockpit for You" in my 737 home cockpit, but after a while I sold it.

Needs way to much force to manually adjust the throttle levers.

Using servos for the trim wheels was not a good design. Too many problems, faulty servos etc.

The worst support I have ever had from a company. It was OK when you finally was able to get support, but it was almost impossible to get in contact with support for help.

I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Do you use Metal Pro or Semi Pro from FSC? I didn’t see MSFS 2020 compatibility in their website. 

FSC just replied to me. They said TQ were not compatible with MS2020 yet. Expected sometime in 2024 😏

Huh? I've been using my TQ for about 2 years with MSFS now in the PMDG 737 (or even other aircraft). They use a custom driver which I think isn't officially compatible with MSFS yet, and only for XP, FSX and P3D, but it works just like it did in P3D. You just need the paid version of FSUIPC.

Interesting. I visited their website again, and found that it is comparable (now) with PMDG 737 for MSFS. I didn’t see it few days ago. Maybe they meant that motorized version is not compatible with MSFS. It wasn’t very clear. I currently have TQ from FlightSimPM. Works good but it is made mostly from plastic and composite materials. I am wondering if I buy non motorized TQ from FSC will add some realism and it feels better. Their motorized version is almost $6k. A bit expensive. From the other side non motorized version is almost $2.5k. Not cheap either.

I am using a CFY 737 Max TQ, I have had it since March 2022 so far, a great product no issues. I have probably 200 hours so far using the TQ with my SimOn Solutions 737 Compact trainer. I purchased it from SimOn Solutions so my support will go through them. I did email the guy who makes the throttle I wanted to order the trim guards and the chart holders for the throttle. He sent me a price with in 48 hours and when I asked to go ahead and order them crickets. It is a very nice product the support/customer service from CFY is pretty bad. 

 

Unfortunately, we just do not have anyone except for FSC (does not work with MSFS), FDS, and maybe 1 more company that is it.
