AIG and atc audio help

Recommended Posts

Hello All.

I have just done a complete install of AIG,(don't know why I didn't do it before, it's very good)! Now I have a problem since the installation. I use default atc, and now some of the audio is very slow and robotic but not all. I also use Edit Voice Pack with audio speed up to 75% which sounds good to me. I tried a reinstall of EVP and re ran my preferences,(75%) but no joy. Does anyone have any experience of this and could help resolve the issue. Many thanks in advance.

Best regards

Thanks for coming back vadriver. Heck, I really don't know. I'm not very techi I'm afraid, (and a bit old and doddery)! I just did the one click install thing and followed it through the automated process, sorry. I'm guessing this makes a difference then?

If I'm not mistaken AIG has it's own ATC file. There is a box/selection you need to deselect somewhere in the settings.

Just checked. Go to Settings then AIGAIM-OCI untick Use ATC file.

Hi Papacoach. Thank you for your reply. I did as you suggested and at first it didn't seem to work, so I shut down everything and rebooted the pc and we seem to be in business!!! Thank you so much for your kind help/support, it is much appreciated.

Thanks for this info.

Do you know how the AIG ATC file differs from the P3D one?

I do remember researching at one point, but do not remember what I found. I would imagine it is more complete than stock p3d, but maybe not as complete as someone who has customized extensively through Edit Voice Pack.

Forgive me if this is hijacking a threat. But where do I find the settings as I can't find it (trying to fix something else that I think may be caused by this).

Gents, AIG doesn’t have its own ATC. If you want the best experience with Ai then the solution is Radar Contact. It communicates with other Ai and recognises lots of airlines.

Jon, if you have the latest AGI OCI update installed where the GUI was overhauled back in August, the Settings option is found on the home screen of OCI and its the very bottom option on the left side.

Here's a link to a site that shows the latest OCI GUI. You can see from the first screenshot where Settings is located.

Hey Jon. You probably found it with Mark's help..., here is an image including the ATC file box location.
