Where do you switch from DX9 to DX10 preview in FSX with Accel. added? I have nothing in my graphics tab. Is it because I have Windows xp?My specs:Dual Core x6800, 8800 GTS, 2 GB ram and Windows XP fully updated.Any help will be appreciated.Lee

Yes, Lee. It's because you run WinXP. DX10 is Vista only.Ulf B

Kind of begs the question though...Is it an actual "Button" to push, and the screen flashes and then suddently you're in DX10 mode?Or is it something you have set, then exit the sim, then restart?RhettAMD 3700+ (@2585 mhz), eVGA 7800GT 256 (Guru3D 93.71), ASUS A8N-E, PC Power 510 SLI, 2gb Corsair XMS 3-3-3-8 (1T), WD 150 gig 10000rpm Raptor, WD 250gig 7200rpm SATA2, Seagate 120gb 5400 rpm external HD, CoolerMaster Praetorian

It's above lens flare and you have to check it then restart FS. It can also be edited in the FSX.cfg with D3D=1 or 0 under graphics.

Bill,Sorry if my question is stupid, but do you notice much difference between DX10 and DX9 when you fly with normal settings to reach higher fps, like Water High 1.x, Bloom off and such? Is it worth the money to buy Vista Home Premium retail? I'd appreciate your personal opinion on this.Ulf B
