S7 Airlines A320 - From Moscow to St. Petersburg...

Featured Replies

Originally coming into existence as “Siberia Airlines”, and later rebranded as S7, here is an airline, best recognized for its unmistakable bright green livery...I clearly recall (flying) its (early generation) 737s (and 767s), from the past SIMs. Once an exclusive operator of the (legacy and Soviet era) Tu-154 and Tu-204 a/c, it went on to boldly embrace the new age of transportation, and with the adaptation of western a/c such as the (A320/A321) Neos and 737 MAXs, it became a (regular) "Boeing/Airbus" airline in Russia, boasting one of the most modern fleets in the Russian private airline sector.

The airline has been recently a victim of the world affairs...with all its international schedules cancelled since last year.

Anyway, please enjoy this set of 13 pictures, below, of the A320 in the (vivid) S7 colors, as I tested, for myself, the flight characteristics of the MSFS2020/Xbox A320neo, here, with a small flight from (UUEE) Moscow to (ULLI) St. Petersburg...

Hope you enjoy. Thanks for viewing...!

Nice...interesting to Russian again.

Nice shots! 😉

Interesting screenies, P_7878. The scenery and the plane look really nice.

Any attempt to stretch fuel is guaranteed to increase headwinds

My specs: AMD Radeon RX6700XT, AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, 32GB RAM, 34" monitor, screen resolution: 2560x1080

Great atmosphere (I wouldn't call it haze exactly) surrounding that plane and making the livery really shine.

John: True, I've often wondered about it too.... it's an inherent characteristic of the MSFS lighting, I think...It does depend on the time of the day, but still, the ambient light seems to bring out the best in the livery...especially e.g., this one ...

It seems you tried to make an autoland - and that it worked (at least until 550 ft above ground)...

Cheers, Gerold

Thanks for the comment, Gerold. It was my first ever flight with the Asobo A320, so, ILS landing was one of the things I really wished to test for myself...probably not perfect in my case, but it seemed to work well...though I need to repeat it with more flights....
