January 1, 20242 yr Hi All, I'm trying to figure out why Pilot2ATC isn't giving me the same runway thats being used by AI on departure. I'm sitting at KLAX, with the wind 028/05, so slightly preferencing the 07/06 runways. This is matched by the SIM thats also got lots of AI departing and arriving those runways. After sitting here for about 10 minutes watching I load Pilot2ATc, and validate/file my flight plan - only to see its giving me a runway 25 departure. Makes no sense - The AI is clearly all using the 06s. I've got the setting for "MATCH SIM RUNWAY IF KNOWN" and can see from AICompanion that all arriving/departing AI are using 06/07. Any ideas why Pilot2ATC would give me the opposing runway? Kael Oswald 9950X3D/ 64GB DDR5 6200 @ CL30 / Custom Water Loop / RTX 5090 / 3 x 48" LG C4 OLEDs

January 1, 20242 yr Author MSFS and AIG TC. I know the MSFS AI isn't the best, but in this case it was using the correct wind disposition and all AI was departing/arriving off those runways... Kael Oswald 9950X3D/ 64GB DDR5 6200 @ CL30 / Custom Water Loop / RTX 5090 / 3 x 48" LG C4 OLEDs
January 4, 20242 yr Commercial Member P2A can't always see the SIM runway in use via FSUIPC. If you go to the SID selection window and select the desired runway, then check the "Force Dep Rwy" option and press the "Select Rwy" button, P2A will use that runway. If you are using real weather in MSFS, then selecting NOAA weather in P2A, then P2A will use wind, Preferred runway, wind limits, etc. to pick the best runway, which often matches what the SIM AI picks.
