Reset All Settings in 1 go? How to do it

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

It has been a while since I have simmed.  Something like 10 months; I just want to know what the best way is to reset all settings to default (I know it is saved on cloud).  I do not want to reinstall (that doesn't solve the problem as it redownloads the settings anyway).   I need the cloud settings to be set to default also.

Is it in control panel - programs and files - MSFS2020 and do reset settings?

Thank you and Happy New Year 2024

If you’re talking sim settings and not controller bindings I think ever section has “reset to defaults”

You can delete your cloud profile by following these instructions:-

https://flightsimulator.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/4409228619538-How-to-delete-a-cloud-save-on-PC-to-fix-some-loading-issues-or-reset-the-logbook

After doing this, you can then locally "reset to default" in all required areas, as btacon suggested.

Thank you to you both.  I forgot on what is done to my install.  This really helps me as I really want to start from default again.
