Is there a way to move the Marshallers and line guys?

Recommended Posts

Anyone know what determines where the ground crew is and/or how to move them? They seem to be in random places and corners. Would be nice to have them in front of the FBO's where they really exist and oriented properly etc...

Thanks!

Probably the same Artificial Intelligence that thinks driving fuel trucks down taxiways and runways is a good idea.

Sorry, I don't have your answer. I disable crash detection and run them over when (not if) they get in the way. They always seem to come back healthy.

Somehow I don't  see them as much as I used to anyway. I think some airport mods remove them. I agree it would be nice to place them just as you pick a spot when you first create a flight plan.

This is not really providing an answer to the question but if you want to remove them for an aircraft then change the following parameters to 0 in the aircraft.cfg file:

[SERVICES]
FUELTRUCK = 0
BAGGAGE_LOADER = 0
CATERING_TRUCK = 0
BOARDING_RAMP = 0
GROUND_POWER_UNIT = 0
PUSHBACK = 0
SMALL_PUSHBACK = 0
MARSHALLER = 0
JETWAY = 0

Yep, I run 'em down too. Same with the taxiway lights on pylons that are in the middle of the taxiways. I roll right over 'em because it's impossible to avoid not doing so.

Silly but I involuntarily cringe when I start taxiing the King Air knowing I'm going to mutilate someone with my prop. As real as it gets? 😎

Thanks for this, I hate these fellas in front of my little GA aircraft.
