Hey Guys,

For the last 4 or 5 days my Sim takes way longer to load than it ever did before, typically it sits on the screen checking for updates for upwards of 5 minutes and then once I select the "Fly Now" button it is also really slow to get to the aircraft. I have tried this with default aircraft and my usual Fenix, PMDG & TBM 850. I have also lost all ATC Audio and just now when I did eventually get too the gate at EGPH in the Fenix I immedietly got an error about my bandwith being too low and all photogramety was disabled. I have a 1.5Gb/s Fibre optic line and my speed test shows everything is normal.

I know here was a server outage last week but my sim was acting up before and now after.

Anyone else seing similar issues ?

I think it's server issues.  I've heard that from a few people.

Since about SU13 mine is quite slow to load to the main menu as well.  If you've recently updated your pmdg or Fenix addons I believe they use WASM coding so it'll take about 5 min extra to load into the flight - it's compiling the WASM gauges.

I have had intermittent server issues over the last few days..

I haven't updated anything on the Fenix or PMDG but I did update GSX Pro on Thursday, I did a flight after that and it loaded normally but today it was suck again on the checking for updates screen for ages, then as I mentioned the Fenix took a while to load. When I am done I will reboot and check again and if it is the same I will remove GSX Pro and see if that's having an effect.

The fact I also have no ATC audio again and I got a bandwith error leads me to believe it is a server problem though.

If anyone is interested I fixed the problem,

Basically I was having some network issues, I will expand a little .... I run ad blocking software (AdGuard Home) on a virtual machine running on a ProxMox Server. I have been running this setup for over a year & a half without issues. Yesterday afternoon I talked to my Son who lives about 90 minutes away and he has not had any issues so I started to investigate further. I shut my ProxMox server down and changed the DNS on my Router to point at CloudFlare and then rebooted it. Straight away my load times to the main menu were about 2 minutes & 50 seconds (Before it was taking between 5 - 6 minutes to get this far). Then I loaded the Fenix A320 to gate 10 at EGPH with my normal addons, GSX Pro, FSLTL, SpadNext & the Adaptive Load App. Once I hit the "Fly" button it took a further 34 seconds to load into the Fenix at the gate. Before this took a further 4 - 5 minutes. I also have my ATC audio back as well now.

This morning I rebooted my ProxMox server and pointed my DNS on my router back to the AdGuard virtual machine and the sim and the Fenix still booted up without issues as above.

I guess the moral of this story is Microsoft/Asobo are not always to blame, although the server outage last week did lead me up the garden path a bit lol.

I know what I have explained may go over many heads but if you are experiencing network connectivity in the sim it may be worth rebooting your router.
