PMDG hints a totally new aircraft on roadmap, what is it?

It'll be something he knows will be a money printer.   But if the whole team were on a 'research trip' I'd day that it's a project for which the 3D model doesn't even exist yet.    I'd not spend anymore energy theorising about it at this stage.  We are more than likely in the realm of light years from a 'Buy Now' button.

Well while we are "wild" guessing and with Matijis involved maybe they struck a deal with Aerosoft to buy out their A330 series and release the first "high fidelity" A330 in flight sim history heck maybe even work with FSLabs to get their A330 in the sim in a timely matter. Lefteris and Rob were partners at one time after all right. Hey people are dreaming of 707's which is not going to happen in 2024 that would not sell much to the new generation following the magenta line while navigating. Just thinking out the box.

My guess would be the Boeing 737 MAX series.

I'm pretty sure Randazzo isn't referring to the 737 Max in his comment. The reason is, Randazzo hinted in past interviews that the 737 Max is quite far along, because he said PMDG may release the 737 Max at anytime (Randazzo said he didn't want to release the 737 Max too early because there was too much "737 fatigue" from buyers, after PMDG released the 737 NG series for MSFS). So the fact that the PMDG team took a trip for this new product line, and the fact that Randazzo has mentioned PMDG could release the 737 Max for MSFS at any moment, I highly doubt it's the 737 Max that Randazzo is referring.

Thank you for your reply.  As I wrote, it's only a guess.

Like everybody else, I have no firm idea!  We wait until Robert Randazzo tells us.

It would be great if he did a Lockheed Constellation/Starliner - one can only hope!
