  1. I hope that someone does the BAe125 (Hawker) - they were the first aircraft that I worked on as part of the design team
  2. I can understand that. However, as someone who doesn't have a decent internet connection, I still use MSFS2020, and it would be great to get some of the improvements. I don't have much hope that they will, though.
  3. It may be if you introduce the fuel too early in the engine start up procedure.
  4. I have no plans to go to MSFS 2024 until my internet connection is upgraded. As is, I'm perfectly happy with MSFS 2020.
  5. May I ask where you got the information to make this statement, or is it an assumption?
  6. Please note that the auto trim has been selected off.
  7. I'm having trouble with the ATR 72 in MSFS2020 again. The trim doesn't work - as soon as I try to adjust it, it goes to zero and won't shift from that position. I have no issue with the trim on any other aircraft. Also, may be related, the autopilot refuses to engage. Very frustrated. May I ask if anyone has any idea on how to fix these issues?
  8. I enjoy using Beyond ATC. I find it great from pushback to the vectoring to the approach. At this point, I just ignore the instructions and follow the STAR and use common sense to get to the approach to the runway. Also, I use the TOD as shown in LittleNavMap as the marker to start descending as I find that the descent rate is normally 1,800-2,000 fpm which I find keeps the aircraft speed OK without the excessive use of the speed brakes.
  9. I fly it extensively in MSFS2020 and I like it a lot. I agree with the comments on the EFB, but it's not a showstopper for me. Hopefully the new EFB will match the best that's out there.
  10. Download the manual from Just flight and read it.
  11. Thanks - my error. I'll try to do better next time!
  12. Wonderful, I look forward to seeing the cargo version in my hanger!
  13. May I ask if it's just for MSFS2024, or will there be an MSFS2020 version?
  14. I always run the Check button at least twice after an update to (hopefully) eliminate any issues. It seems to work for me.
  15. Pleased that it's also coming to MSFS2020. I plan to go to MSFS2024 once the internet connection is updated (no timescales yet) to a full-fibre connection.
  16. I did some further changes to the flight_model.cfg and I managed to get everything more or less aligned. However, during 2 separate test flights, both engines stopped on both occasions even though there was plenty of fuel. More fool me for buying the aircraft. So, I've deleted the aircraft and I'll carry on using the Airbus A300-600F and the Boeing 747-8F and the 777-F as my go-to freighters until Bluebird releases the 757-200F (goodness knows when that will be).
  17. Many thanks Keith, I bought the freighter version, which is only available from the Marketplace. However, I found the file in the mod package available from Flightsim.to. The only issue that I have is that the Fuel/max allowable fuel still reads 161,001 lbs. May I ask if you know how I can fix this? Best regards, Peter
  18. May I ask if you would kindly show me how you did this? Thanks in advance.
  19. I seem to recall that when inibuilds launched the A300, they said that they were going to do a version with the avionics that UPS has for their fleet. It was going to be a paid upgrade.
  20. I'm looking forward to flying the freighter version for my virtual cargo airlines!
  21. Problem solved - I traced it to a binding on my Honeycomb Bravo Throttle Quadrant - one of the switches controlled the generators. Moderators - you might care to remove this topic. Best regards, Peter
  22. Dear All, I'm trying to start flying the Boeing 747-8 in MSFS2020. The problem that I have is that after I started the APU, I get the "Avail" lights on the APU GEN 1 and 2 switches. When I select the APU generator switches, instead of going to lights saying "ON", the "AVAIL" lights remain on and the electrical system doesn't get powered on. The Standby Power switch is set to AUTO and I've installed/re-installed both the default and Salty versions and I still get the same issue. Any help in solving this problem would be appreciated. Best regards, Peter
  23. Moderators- please remove "FSUIPC Related" as I have found out that FSUIPC didn't cause the problem.
  24. Dear All, I have had a CTD on two separate flights - one to Boston and one to Atlanta, both times just after I landed and started to taxy to the gates. I have flown to both of these airports previously without any issues so I am unsure what the problem is. On the first occasion, I had some freezes during the flight, which lasted about 5-10 seconds. I put the problem down to Gees, which had recently added. I was flying the Fenix A321. I subsequently removed Gees and had a trouble free flight to KRSW in an A300F. On my last flight, I was flying the iFly 737-8 and everything was running well. I had no issues loading the flight sim, or during the flight prior the CTD. Before these CTD's, MSFS2020 had been running perfectly without any issue. I checked the event viewer and for the last CTD, it stated: Faulting application name: FSUIPC7.exe, version: 7.5.0.5, time stamp: 0x6910614c Faulting module name: ntdll.dll, version: 10.0.26100.7462, time stamp: 0x9225342c Exception code: 0xc000041d Fault offset: 0x000000000000aa83 Faulting process id: 0x463C So I am somewhat bemused as I've not touched the current version of FSUIPC since I installed it on the 6th of December. Any help would be appreciated. Best regards, Peter
