Featured Replies

Important make sure you watch this if you have a G2 because if you update windows during the next major update your G2 will no longer work.

This is bad news for me. What to do ?

Bad news for me as well... I believe there will be a work around or is that wishful thinking?

I am currently on Windows 11 pro version 23 H2. I made a disc image backup so that I can always go back to this version if needed. I may be wrong, but i don’t think you are forced to upgrade to a higher version. Only the security updates are mandatory. This should work ok as long as Microsoft does not force you to upgrade the version.

My solution is to create a system image of your c:drive and don’t upgrade to a new version when it comes up. I don’t think you will be forced to upgrade, but I could be wrong. The reason to create a system image is that you can always go back to the good version and then install the new security updates if you need to reinstall windows for any reason.
