Mamudesign Payware

Featured Replies

Recent beta testing of an airport product has revealed that the freeware version of MamuDesign Solar Farms is causing "screen freeze" problems in some locations. I guess this means that there is now an incompatibility with the latest version of MSFS, so that is one very good reason to switch to the payware version. I assume that the latter does not suffer from this problem?

I also noticed that the freeware version of the Solar Farms package was overlaying solar panel models on top of the solar panels that are included in the FlyTampa LGAV Athens airport addon. I would hope that the payware version does not exhibit conflicts of this type.

Conflicts such as these happen elsewhere.

The question was asked: should the airport dev make the change to their product or should the Manudesign dev change its product?  Who is responsible for compatibility? If both items are sold in the Marketplace does it have any accountability?

A very good question. I anyway do not really understand why Mamu does not advertise more pro-active his products by making clear what the current differences are and why it makes sense to switch to the payware variant. Except updates of course, where also no one really knows if the payware variants are now already newer or not. Or in short: worse marketing of a product is almost impossible 🤣
