April 14, 20242 yr Commercial Member Not sure if this forum gets much attention these days but thought I would ask anyway. Re-installed my 690B into P3Dv5 and I noticed how dark the 3D cockpit is, and this is during the day! Looking at old YouTubes show a nice bright airbus type blue. Mine is so dark one cannot see the overhear start engines knob. Is this because the model was originally for FSX or maybe there is some update/3rd party texture that lighten up the interior? Thanks for any input. April 15, 20242 yr Hi @Clutch Cargo, Dark cockpits are the standard with v5+ due to lighting changes. Perhaps take at look at this thread There are changes for the volumetric clouds & alternate shader files with the HDR shader built based on v6.
