April 26, 20242 yr It used to be fairly easy to log on to Orbx and post a problem but it seems sort of difficult now, at least for me. Have not been there in years. Maybe someone has had this same issue. FSX - Orbx - OLC USA - Indiana pyramids Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-14700F 32.0 GB memory Windows 11 Home Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060
April 26, 20242 yr Could it be an elevation issue caused by ORBX Vector? Or a layering issue in the scenery library? Just a thought. Vic green
April 26, 20242 yr Landclass shouldn't affect mesh. Are you using any mesh in that area? Best regards,Luis Hernández Main rig: self built, AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D (with SMT off and CO -50 mV), 2x16 GB DDR4-3200 RAM, Nvidia RTX 5060Ti 16GB, 256 GB M.2 SSD (OS+apps) + 2x1 TB SATA III SSD (sims) + 1 TB 7200 rpm HDD (storage), ID-Cooling SE-224-XTS air cooler, Viewsonic VX2458-MHD 1920x1080@120-144 Hz (G-sync compatible), Windows 11. Running P3D v5.4 (with v4.5 scenery objects as an additional library, just in case), FSX-SE, MSFS2020, MSFS2024 and even FS9! Lossless Scaling for all my sims. What a godsend...Mobile rig: ASUS Zenbook UM425QA (AMD Ryzen 7 5800H APU @3.2 GHz and boost disabled, 1 TB M.2 SSD, 16 GB RAM, Windows 11 Pro). Running FS9 there .VKB Gladiator NXT Premium Left + GNX THQ as primary controllers. Xbox Series X|S wireless controller as standby/mobile.
April 26, 20242 yr Author Howdy airplane friends. No extra LC or Mesh. Downloaded OLC twice from Orbx app, synched twice from same app. Scenery config editor shows no error. Redid the flight, same issue. Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-14700F 32.0 GB memory Windows 11 Home Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060
April 27, 20242 yr Sometimes, the assumption that the default simulator is perfect is flawed. Here is the precise location in an entirely default FSX: There is no need to waste any more time in trying to determine the cause and a couple of excludes would remove those default mesh spikes.

April 28, 20242 yr Author Thank you airplane addicts, thanks for chiming in. Must not be an OLC issue. I'll search for some freeware mesh. Happy flying. Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-14700F 32.0 GB memory Windows 11 Home Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060
May 2, 20242 yr Author Hello friends, thanks for the replies and illustrations. I installed some freeware mesh, directly below all of my Orbx software, which is first in line at the top. It did not solve the pyramid issue. Perhaps that's the incorrect location in the scheme of things. I have most of the Orbx software, but not all. May 12, 20242 yr Author My comment has nothing to do with Orbx with the exception of where I placed the mesh with regards to before or after Orbx software. I posted the comment in case my placement of the mesh in the scheme of things was incorrect. Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-14700F 32.0 GB memory Windows 11 Home Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060
