April 28, 20242 yr Looking gorgeous there, Bernd! Is that skin via the "replace the textures" technique? I assume it's not just a drop in repaint? And if its the replacement thing, is the skin itself an old FSX/P3D version? Either way, she's looking really good there against some great scenery. Ryzen 9 7900X, Corsair H150 AIO cooler, 64 Gb DDR5, Asus X670E Hero m/b, 3090ti, 13Tb NVMe, 8Tb SSD, 16Tb HD, 55" Philips 4k HDR monitor, EVGA 1600w ps, all in Corsair 7000D airflow case. Sims in use - 2020, 2024, XP-12 and -11, FSX/SE, P3Dv4.5 and v5.4. DCS and AFS2 installed but rarely used
April 28, 20242 yr Author Thanks Andy, yes its via the "replace the textures" technique. I bought next to the plane also the livery pack 1. That gave me four different skins to play with. Then I found out that the textures used for the old CS C-130E without VC are the same as the ones CS uses now for the C-130H. And for the old plane quite a few free liveries are available on the .to site. Download the ones you like and drop only the textures and new thumbnail into one of the four livery folders you have. Important: don't change anything else or it won't work. And don't advertise this with Captain Scam. Otherwise they sure will find a way to stop this technique. The livery pack is nothing special but I figured it would be a good basis for this sort of thing. Next stop - the CS site to grab myself the pack!
