GSX ignores cargo type selection

Featured Replies

I've set all of my GSX EGLL gates to be Cargo Loader gates (no conveyor belts). I also set LGKR (corfu) gates to be cargo loaders so that it was realistic when arriving.

But, on requesting boarding at EGLL, up comes the conveyor belt. I reset GSX and check the gate and it says Cargo Loader but still sends a conveyor belt. Same thing happened in LGKR.

Can anyone help? Thanks

you omitted the most inportant thing: the airplane used. If the airplane can’t use cargo loaders (for example because its cargo door is too low), GSX will use belt loaders, no matter what you set in the airport profile.

It's the FBW A320 so is definitely high enough for cargo loaders.

They are high enough for the FMC15 ULD loader, but of course, in order to see it, you must tell you want to use ULDs (AKH, the only kind allowed in an A320) in the airplane profile.

In both airport menus all the gates were set to Cargo Loader

I said the airplane profile, that always takes precedence over the airport profile

Where do I change it in the airplane profile? It's clear in the airport parking menu, but can't see it on the 'Customize Airplane' settings.

You click it on a Cargo door, to indicate the loader type. GSX Manual. Paragraph "Cargo Doors options" at Page 64.
