May 20, 20242 yr Can anyone tell me how to remove autogen trees from the middle of runway at Corn Island (MNCI) just of the Mosquito Coast of Nicaragua? This is a default airport using either default or photo scenery. Turning down the autogen to low doesn't do it and turning it off makes the island look scalped. Advice will be appreciated as long as you don't tell me to just buy a chain saw😂 Vic green
May 21, 20242 yr Not sure if P3Dv6 has the same airport AFCAD format as previous versions but you could try doing this (see Link) - although it refers to v5 and an FSX airport creation, I can't see LM changing the format. In any case worth a try. https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/635638-removing-trees-from-runway-created-from-ade-fsx/ YBCG

They did not move the airport background and this is what is causing the issues. Looking at the some maps the runway was in the proper real world position in P3DV5, so not sure why it was moved. If you need any help I can get a quick fix done for this. John C. Specs: black box thingy with spinning fans, lights and a bunch of wires that go to screens with pretty colours and a keyboard with many keys. The black box thingy also has a push button activated coffee cup holder. John C.

Otherwise the default airport will put you in the trees and you’ll see a grass strip where the runway is. Vic green
May 26, 20242 yr There is a better freeware option available here Corn Island I only have v5 but it works there without any adjustments and looks great. Dan P.S was too optimistic. I is necessary to remove default buildings in v5. The fixed complete scenery is available from my site. @Patco LchThanks for inspiring us to look at this place.
