May 27, 20242 yr Just attempted to make a purchase. Wanted to take advantage of the current sale. The card processer presented by the Org Store for making payment was one I had not seen before. I completed the process filling in the info required including credit card info, completed the purchase. However nothing happened except another page came up requesting the info be inserted again as if to make another purchase, this time being the normal Org process. I've sent an email to the Org Store requesting clarification what is happening. Has anyone else had this experience? This happened in the last 30 minutes or so.
May 27, 20242 yr Author Follow Up: It appears there may have been a hiccup in the first transaction process attempt. The second attempt at purchase a few minutes ago was successful. The Org Store replied promptly and stated all was well on their end. That said with the amount of credit card fraud happening in today's world we all need to be vigilant. Apologies for any concern created.

May 29, 20242 yr Commercial Member Try not to use your credit card for online purchases. I've resorted to other options. Paypal or a prepaid debit card for companies that don't accept paypal. Not because I don't trust the store. But because I've seen data theft happen too many times from other parties.
May 29, 20242 yr Yep after an incident I had talking to bank IT security, he said he's has more problems with his card than i had, I use an ATM card which Ive had for years for daily stuff, only sparingly use debit card and at very few places. For those who dont know, an ATM card is not a credit card nor is it a debit card, it can only be used in shops and to get money out of machines, some drink food machines wont accept them, which is fine with me.You have to be under 18, but they still keep giving me mine a good many years later. Best thing I ever got. Credit cards are dangerous Edited May 29, 20242 yr by mjrhealth
May 30, 20242 yr Author Prepaid credit card may be the way to go especially if it can be reloaded when needed. Never used one so it's time to educate myself.
