Cowan Sim EC130 Released

Featured Replies

Didn't see this one coming:

I have 5 hours in one of these IRL - did a rating with the company I worked for, then they decided not to buy one. Looking forward to flying it in the sim.

I'm sure you fling wing guys probably knew but for someone like me I felt so let down when I realised it wasn't this one:

No. No, Mav, this is not a good idea.

Sorry Goose, but it's time to buzz the tower!

Intel (R) Core (TM) i7-10700 CPU @2.90Ghz, 32GB RAM,  NVIDEA GeForce RTX 3060, 12GB VRAM, Samsung QN70A 4k 65inch TV with VRR 120Hz Free Sync (G-Sync Compatible).

Boeing Thrustmaster TCA Yoke, Honeycomb Bravo Throttle Quadrant, Turtle Beach Velocity One Rudder Pedals.

Excellent.

In the bag, something to enjoy for the weekend. His recent releases have been significantly better than his early efforts.

Ooooh yes! That looks like fun! Maybe some clever b*gger will do a repaint/remodel job for the CS jobbie - we can only hope.

Ryzen 9 7900X, Corsair H150 AIO cooler, 64 Gb DDR5, Asus X670E Hero m/b, 3090ti, 13Tb NVMe, 8Tb SSD, 16Tb HD, 55" Philips 4k HDR monitor, EVGA 1600w ps, all in Corsair 7000D airflow case. Sims in use - 2020, 2024, XP-12 and -11, FSX/SE, P3Dv4.5 and v5.4. DCS and AFS2 installed but rarely used

Not quite sure Andy if you realise that this thread is related to a helicopter and not a C-130, which is what I had hoped it would be about.

Apologies if I have misread your comment? But I agree, an EC  C-130 would be absolutely Awesome!!!

That's OK Terry. I know the thread was about the egg-beater (which also looks good), but I was just agreeing with you re the Herc - wasn't aware of that version IRL.

And apologies to the OP for partially hijacking the thread, but thanks for the heads up. That may yet make it into my hangar.

I did a little mini review here at the screenshot section
