MSFS marketplace update live from FS Expo 2024

Featured Replies

The new Marketplace looks slick! So did the old one. The one on Amazon does not, but it is very easy to use. Also the ones on Steam. I'm beginning to think Bill Gates has a neer do well son in law that he put in charge of the MS cart system.

5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB  PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Crystal Light VR.

I'm watching the Marketplace presentation and I've reached the part where they say that there will be compatibility of the MSFS 2020 and 2024 catalog (addons), which is good to hear.... But at the same time a question came to my mind: will it be the same with the "catalog" outside the marketplace?

13600KF - AIO - 32GB DDR4 - RTX4070 - UW1440p GSync - USB DAC - 2TB NVMe - Windows 11 Pro - Gladiator NXT EVO - 1 Gbps Fiber  - MSFS 2024

I have only ever purchased 1 item from the marketplace.  It was an airport addon that was much cheaper on Marketplace than on the developer website.  All was fine until the developer provided a very nice free update.  It look over a month for that update to appear in the marketplace.  I doubt I will every buy anything again there for this reason.
