July 5, 20241 yr last week i had micro center install a new 4080 super and was getting over 100 fps then yesterday frame generation stopped and now back to 50 to 60 fps . no changes in nvidia control or changes in msfs have been done. i run a 7800x3d and even 60 fps is not bad but no longer getting over 100 it seems all of a sudden frame generation just stopped working . as stated above i did not make any changes in the sim . is hard for me to think my asus brand new gpu is bad and all temps are great on all hardware and ram which is 64gbyts . any thoughts are thanked in advance. Denny
July 5, 20241 yr How are you measuring the fps? Remember that the in-game frame rate counter measures HALF your frame gen fps (it measures pre-FG fps) Rhett 7800X3D ♣ 96 GB G.Skill Flare ♣ Gigabyte 4090 ♣ Crucial P5 Plus 2TB
July 5, 20241 yr You would be better served to use a Benchmark Utility to confirm your GPU is up to specs. Most likely it is. Seeing a difference for MSFS means very little.
July 5, 20241 yr Author am usuing fps monitor to show fps as a external fps monitor and use to show over 100 fps now shows same as msfs fps monitor which is 60 before yesterday was showing 100 or somtimes more
July 5, 20241 yr Presumably you didn't somehow get vsync to a 60Hz screen enabled and for some reason NV DLSS FG disabled?
