Will we have Fly-By and Tower Views in 2024?

Don't we already have a canera to do a flyby and tower view in MSFS?

No not by default which is a shame. One thing that many love in legacy sims as is a more serious replay system witch many folks that fly fast jets and commercial jets use to create video content.

Who doesn't want to see a replay of their own "butter the bread" landing from a spotters view?

Maybe the reason for the blatantly missing most spectacular view mode in the most spectacular flight simulator is that this very topic has dried up already after a day and a half..... i.e. there's clearly far from enough interest, eagerness to have an instant fly-by camera option in MSFS nore in MSFS2024 for MSAsobo to get to work on it (true, they have a LOT on their plate..). They don't see any harm in seeing all of these MSFS2024 preview video's popping up now usually with the external camera pointed at the rear of the aircraft (not to say as*, i mean who'd like to look an airplane up its as*...it's embarrassing !) like it was just a cheap arcade flying game from the last century...

About 3 months total silence here in this topic. If i didn't stumble over it just now, because * I * am certainly one of the 'seemingly' very few who would trade all the fancy new stuff (Ok..., *most* of the fancy new stuff..)  they created for MSFS24 just to have a decent, easy to use, one click instant Fly-By camera back in our otherwise amazing super flight simulator. Something that shouldn't even have had to be mentioned, let alone *asked for* in a wish list, because nothing belongs more to the camera options of a flight simulator than a simple one click Fly-By view.

Oh "Active Camera" where art thou ???.....  (for simmers here that are not familiar with these two magical words : Active Camera for FS9 (FS2004) was a camera system created by a Belgian/French team of highly skilled and innovative programmers called 'Anti-Cyclone'. The first version was freeware, for the final version you'd have to pay a small price but the camera system, including a Play Back option, was really something to behold, particularly the Fly-By camera. Imagine you can click a point along the runway from *within* the VC during final approach where you'd want to stand and externally view your aircraft approach, land and roll out ! You'd just finish your approach, land and roll out, hit the Replay Button and you'd be instantly placed along the runway on the spot you've clicked earlier to watch your aircraft all the way until it turns off the runway at the end of its roll out. And that is over and over again too ! And that goes for your take-off as well of course. Particularly with something like a 747 on a rainy day which i could watch indeed 'over and over again'. A dream come true for any aircraft spotter !

I can easily imagine nobody within the MSAsobo team knows what i'm talking about. Possibly even never heard of 'Active Camera' let alone the possibility to just click a point anywhere at any airport and you'd be instantly transported there while in External View. If they'd known we'd be walking all over the place at an airport and seeing our own aircraft, in External View, depart its stand, taxi to its assigned runway, take-off and dissapear in the distance...

Not anymore, guys, not anymore... ( and don't ask me about FCR because setting up a Fly-By view with FCR is even more cumbersome than it is with this MSFS 'Drone' camera and besides, you wouldn't have to 'set up' a Fly-By camera view in the first place of course. Rediculous. A Fly-By camera view should be a 'one click' operation. Take DCS, now THAT's a Fly-By camera view, why oh why can't we have that in MSFS ! (  i think i know.... too complex and seemingly not enough interest in it. We should all pack up our tents and go sit in front of Jorge Neumann's house until he will give in ! "Fly-By Extincsion Rebellion" !! ))

A very worried Fly-By camera aficionado.

(who more or less lost interest in MSFS just because there is no Fly-By in MSFS. ( Ok, i'm a dedicated aircraft spotter. Hey, who can help that ?...))
