In Sim Events/Expo (FS2024) Prediction

Featured Replies

Currently, payware developers may host a Live Stream on YouTube to announce new Products etc. Such as Inibuilds just recently.

I'm predicting a major new feature in FS2024, that developers can instead host Live Events, In Sim.

What it means is that in multiplayer, there is a scheduled event, such as in a large hangar somewhere, and simmers can fly in to that airport (or just start there) walk inside, meet some other simmers and watch the event In Sim. The presentation could be an actual in game person speaking and/or a video playing on a large screen. I also predict that at some point (maybe FS2024) that a flight sim Expo will be held virtually In Sim, and you have display sections for each Developer etc, along with Live Presentations, where simmers can sit and watch. Welcome to the future of Flight Sim virtual events, where anyone can attend, worldwide!

While I applaud the creativity, the truth is that MSFS isn't "Second Life" or the now defunct "Playstation Home". There has already been freeware released that does simple mockups of large events, but other than that, I don't think you're going to see much more. Cool idea though!

Gaming rig
Intel i9 13900k - NZXT Kraken Z73 cooler - ASUS Maximus Hero Z790
64GB Trident Z 6400MHz DDR5 - Gigabyte 4090 GAMING OC 24G
10 x 120mm Lian Li UNI fans - Lian Li OD11XL Case - Corsair HX1500i PSU

not going to happen for msfs2024, maybe way on in the future.

Could be interesting in VR

So I think you will see, based on the hints, that the future is not just flying and there will be other elements, regarding first person mode, in multiplayer. I know my prediction is going to come true, the only question is whether it is too advanced for the next version (2024). But I am sticking to it. I do have one more (5th) major prediction. I am saving the best for last. I will be posting it soon.
