How is Horizon Sim products? I don't have any of their scenery.

I remember having a good KPVD scenery for FS9, it was from a developer called Flightscenery.  I used to make short flights from KLGA to KPVD all the time.

Flightzone had an amazing pdx as well to go with pvd. Its a shame he didnt develop any further. As for horizon i have yet to buy any of their stuff but there is on review thats favorable on simmarket.

KPVD is a decent addon.  However, it is basically an addition of textures to the default KPVD.  There is no AFCAD bgl file that I could find.  Still, it's better than the stock default KPVD.

My specs:  Intel i5-4690k 3.5gHz oc to 4.4gHz, 32 gb DDR3 @ 2400mHz, RTX 2060 11gb, Windows 10, P3Dv5.4 + large quantity of 3rd party addons scenery & aircraft. It's getting along in age but gets the job done quite nicely - smooth with no stutters!
