In adition to the given information:

I bought the LJ35 and FMS EXPANSION from the FLYSIMWARE page: https://flysimware.com/, then i received a link to download it  from my Email.

Also with the last Ayrac Cycle (2408, wich is current until september), the FMS shows a yellow line in the main page *DATABASE EXPIRED*.

Regards.

Erick.

This is what I see when I first power up the FMS. I think the "NAV DATABASE EXPIRED" message is just letting us know when AIRAC cycle will be out of date.

Good evening Flysimware Team.

After doing 6 short flights between SPSO and SPJC and following some Ark’s recommendations. I think I have found the culprit of the problems with programming a second flight plan.

-   First the software I have:

          FLYSIMWARE  LJ35 V4.4

FMS EXPANSION V1.6 (with last airac cycle)

          FSX SP2

-     Now I will detail the 6 flights that I made:

1-      SPSO – SPJC

-          ROUTE: SPSO/RWY4-ASOXI-SPJC/RWY16L (no SID/STARS, no aPPS)

-          No change in weight (trough the PayloadManager)

-          No Vnav trough FMS

-          Started with engines running

Result: Everything as spected, after landed I left the runway 16L, went to my parking position and stopped the engines, opened the door and turned off all the systems as stated in the checklist card and programed the return flight to SPSO, everything ok.

2-      SPJC – SPSO

-          ROUTE: SPJC/RWY16L- ASOXI- SCO- SPSO/RWY22 (no SID/STARS, no APPS)

-          Sarted with engines off (from the previous flight)

-          No change in  weight (trough the PayloadManager)

-          No Vnav trough FMS

-          Gpu connected.

Result: Everything as spected, after landed I left the runway, went to my parking position, turned off engines and programmed the next flight back to SPJC, everything ok.

3-      SPSO - SPJC

-          ROUTE: SPSO/RWY22 - KOPRA1 (departure)- ASOXI- ESEDI2(arrival) with APP ILS16L –SPJC

-           No change in weight (trough the PayloadManager)

-          No Vnav trough FMS

Result: Everything as spected, after landed I left the runway, went to my parking position, turned off engines and programmed the next flight back to SPSO, everything ok.

4-      SPJC - SPSO

-          ROUTE: SPJC/RWY16L – ASOXI2 (departure)- ASOXI- GEBED3(arrival) –SPSO/RWY22

-          No change in weight (trough the PayloadManager)

-           I programmed the VNAV trough the FMS (this is what I usually do in my flights to know when to start to descend) so I programmed my first waypoint GEBED at 7000 feet with a descend profile of -3000 ft/min.

Result: After landed, I went to my parking position and I COULD NOT program the RETURN FLIGHT TO SPJC (the first waypoint to the return flight was not shown in magenta color and not in the HSI). Notice that the only change I made was to program the VNAV into the FMS.

LEFT THE SIMULATOR – ENTERED AGAIN.

5-      SPSO-SPJC

-          ROUTE: SPSO/RWY22 - KOPRA1 (departure)- ASOXI- ESEDI2(arrival) with APP ILS16L –SPJC

-           I changed the weight, adding 6 passenger and some cargo, and modifying the amount of fuel (trough the PayloadManager).

-          FMS FUEL PAGE also was changed to add the 6 passengers and the cargo which was loaded trough the Payload M.

-          No Vnav trough FMS

Result: Everything as spected, after landed I left the runway, went to my parking position, turned off engines and programmed the next flight back to SPSO, everything ok.

6-      SPJC-SPSO

-          ROUTE: SPJC/RWY16L – ASOXI2 (departure)- ASOXI- GEBED3(arrival) –SPSO/RWY22

-          I changed the weight, adding 4 passenger and some cargo, and modifying the amount of fuel (trough the PayloadManager).

-          FMS FUEL PAGE also was changed to add the 6 passengers and the cargo which was loaded trough the Payload M.

-          No Vnav trough FMS

Result: Everything as spected, after landed I left the runway, went to my parking position, turned off engines and programmed the next flight, everything ok.

*In every route I used the DELETE FPL button to enter a new flight plan.

_______

So, as you can notice, the fourth flight, in wich i programmed the VNAV trough the FMS was the only flight in wich I could not programm a second flight plan, I tried entering also other flight plans, waypoints, etc. without result.

Waiting for your answers.

Regards.

Erick.

This issue has been resolved in Version 1.7 and will be released later today. 10-16-2024.

FLYSIMWARE LEARJET 35A FMS Beta 1.7
=========================

UPDATES:
2. Added the ETP/PNR page.

Press the MENU button from the PERF page. Then press the ETP/PNR LSK. The [M] symbol now displays when a particular page has a separate menu (ie Fuel, and Perf) all other times the normal menu displays on pressing 'Menu'.

Bugs:
1. Loading a flight plan from the VANV for the first flight would not allow you to enter a new flight plan. Fixed.
