Amazing RTA scene outside EGMC

Featured Replies

Another set of scenery pix. This is using a pretty amazing scene available on .to ( https://flightsim.to/file/79071/essex-hems-accident), which shows  an RTA on a road running close to Southend Airport (EGMC) which involves the Essex HEMS team. A static scene, but really very impressive. Only downside is the trees that have been added for the scene are practically luminous and well out of balance with the surrounding trees. You can actually load the remainder of the scene without the trees but it does leave a fairly prominent division where the road of the scene ties in with the underlying area.

But all in all, I can live with the trees as the scene itself is so impressive. The helo in these shots is part of the scene, but obviously you could fly in with a second HEMS chopper (which is the scene creator's thing).

It started out as another quiet sunny day in Rochford -

and then there was a loud crash and it all kicked off from there - sirens, helicopters and the works

It might appeal more to me than most as Southend was where I wasted my youth, and I would have been all around these back lanes on my lairy purple fixed wheel racing bike back in the day. Fond memories of actual haystacks in the fields around the airport back then.

Ryzen 9 7900X, Corsair H150 AIO cooler, 64 Gb DDR5, Asus X670E Hero m/b, 3090ti, 13Tb NVMe, 8Tb SSD, 16Tb HD, 55" Philips 4k HDR monitor, EVGA 1600w ps, all in Corsair 7000D airflow case. Sims in use - 2020, 2024, XP-12 and -11, FSX/SE, P3Dv4.5 and v5.4. DCS and AFS2 installed but rarely used

Pretty cool add-on for people that fly in that area.  Cheers,

A really busy scene down below, Andy....the surrounding (dense) trees make it all the more dramatic...🙂...

Thanks for sharing...!

Thanks folks. Not everybody's taste, I know, but I see this sort of thing as a possible taste of 2024, plus it presses my nostalgia buttons (not the crash, the location!)

Fantastic Andy!  Absolutely fantastic.  I wonder how they'd react if I used this in a comic?

Cheers Jack. Try messaging the author via his .to link (in my opening spiel above), can't see why he'd object.
