GSX cars/vehicles, AIG traffic injector, MSFS cars/ground

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have a problem with the traffic inside the airport. I want to use GSX but a lot of vehicles from it are crashing with others. I use AI traffic and I want also cars trucks for those aircrafts but not so much.

I reduced options inside MSFS to 0, AIG traffic injector with 0 cars/vehicles, but I still have static cars/vehicles in the airport. Maybe the developer wanted those static vehicles? How is possible to remove them so that I have some free space to use GSX without colisions? Otherwise I only can use certain gates with a lot of space. Even while taxiing I have vehicles travelling everywhere. I would like to avoid this while puhsing back ans taxiing.

Solutions?

the long and short of it is you need a good hand crafted GSX profile for a specific airport scenery (e.g. there are separate GSX profiles for the Asobo version of KLAX, there's another for the FeelThere version of KLAX, another for the iniBuilds one etc, so pay attention to that) and if it's well done it should be set up so GSX vehicles won't collide with the static scenery elements like parked vehicles. obviously you can make your own GSX profile but it is a painstaking process.

beyond that there is nothing you can do about it.

It's a very frustrating process but thankfully there are hundreds more GSX profiles available on FS.to for MSFS than were ever available for earlier P3D versions of GSX, so chances are you'll find a profile for most payware airports and even many good freeware sceneries as well.

Some could definitely use some tweaks, others need to be redone with the walk-out passenger functionality, but usually decent enough for my needs.

There are two things to consider:

1/ the objects (car, luggage vehicle, stairs, etc...) put by the creator of the scene. You cannot remove or move them except by modifying the scene in hard (create code).
2/ the objects put around your plane by MSFS and requested by the aircraft.cfg file (example Fenix A320: fnx-aircraft-320\SimObjects\Airplanes\FNX_320_IAE\aircraft.cfg). These objects are invoked by the [SERVICES] part:

Personally I use GSX and for the A320 I have set no surrounding objects except the operation of the jetways

[SERVICES]
FUELTRUCK =0
BAGGAGE_LOADER =0
CATERING_TRUCK =0
BOARDING_RAMP =1
GROUND_POWER_UNIT =0
PUSHBACK =0
SMALL_PUSHBACK =0
MARSHALLER =0
JETWAY =1

1 = present ----- O = absent.

Maybe this can help you understand or solve your problem.

No surrounding objects... except the ones by the creator of the scene, right? That's a problem... Scenery developers put cars and trucks almost everywhere.

I also use GSX but my file does not have that item called [services]. And anyway, if I put 0 in all of those, I wil not have them from GSX, right?

Please read carefully what I wrote.

In each folder of an aircraft, there is an aircraft.cfg file, in this file there is the [SERVICES] part that installs objects around the aircraft. we are only in the MSFS world.

GSX is something else.
