Aerosoft One App

Recommended Posts

Bought the FSS e/170/e175 package from Aerosoft yesterday but I can't install it because the Aerosoft One app will not open.

I've submitted a support ticket but while I wait for a response I thought I'd post here in case someone had the same problem and figured it out.

The app appears to be installed as it shows in my list of installed  programs and there is a shortcut on my desktop (on Windows 11 Pro, BTW).

When I try to launch it, it only gets as far as the splashscreen with the blue progress bar fully right and the activity circle endlessly going round and round.

I tried antivirus off, firewall off, I set an exclusion for the app in the firewall settings, tried launching with admin privs, tried uninstalling/reinstalling.

I even tried launching it with Win11 in safe mode.

Anyone have any idea what I might try next?

Tested ok for me.

Initially it downloaded "WHAT'S NEW IN V0.16.4"

Edit: I also use WIN11 and my Avast virus checker remained On.

Thanks.

I have never seen "WHAT'S NEW IN V0.16.4".

It seems it never gets far enough along to display that message.

A check of the log file created during the install process shows that the version I am having a problem with is 0.16.4

I had the same problem and asked on their forum. Aerosoft suggested that McAfee was the culprit, and indeed, after turning off real time scan, Aerosoft One works properly for me.

I use Bitdefender but disabling it (which aslo disables scanning) made no difference.

Alternatively you can also activate your serial on Contrail.

Awsome!

I already had Contrail installed. Entered my serial number for the E-Jet package and it installed flawlessly.

Thanks a lot!
