Finnair 787-10...in Rain and Clouds... (20 Pics) ...

I have not flown in the Nordic countries in a long while, so, here is a short flight I took from Sweden's (ESNQ) Kiruna Airport to Finland's (EFIV) Ivalo Airport. I've deliberately set the weather to "Rain" and "Clouds" to spice up my flight a bit...🙂...BTW, the "stock" (EFIV) Ivalo Airport is fairly well-rendered by MSFS (see my last screenshot). 

For livery, I've selected this special color of Finnair that caught my attention today. It features the attractive floral pattern created by the Finnish design company "Marimekko" that also provides linens and tableware, with the same signature (floral) patterns, for use on board the Finnair a/c. 

Here is an official statement from Marimekko and the airline, that is worthy of mention:
"We hope that Marimekko’s sympathetic Unikko poppy flowers flying up in the sky as well as our other iconic prints as a part of the in-flight experience bring joy to people around the world, and (we) believe that the Marimekko and Finnair design collaboration will bring to hectic and often grey air travel joy, peace of mind and beautiful memories..."

"...joy, peace of mind and beautiful memories..." to "...hectic and often grey air travel..."...🙂...indeed, that sounds good to me...!

Please note that Finnair does not have any 787s in its fleet, so, consider this livery fictional, but I hope you like it on the 787-10.

Agree, pmplayer, that's a nice livery. I like flowers on Airframes ...🙂...There are quite a few such airlines around...

Thanks, John. Yes, I wouldn't mind seeing these flowers with tableware onboard when being served dinner...especially in the sardine class...🙂...

Thank you for chiming in, Ryan...while been busy redirecting those airliners to their destinations ...🙂...BTW, you're correct and a nice coincidence...! You probably handled a Finnair A350-900 on Tuesday this week. FIN19 A359 that had left Helsinki (HEL) and arrived after a (non-stop) flight at 3:05PM CDT in Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW). 

Finnair has 2 more non-stop flights this week between HEL and DFW, one en-route today (Thursday), and another scheduled for tomorrow (Friday), both with same flight number (FIN19). Do look out for those ones on your radar ...🙂...when they pass over your neighborhood...
