October 4, 20241 yr Hi, I remember reading somewhere in a post a long time ago that you can change a setting in a config file somewhere to double the amount of house`s showing. Can anybody guide me how to do this. Cheers Intel® Core™ i9-13900KF - 24 Cores... October 4, 20241 yr You are right, there is a way to do this, unfortunately I don't know how. I would also like to know how to do this. I used to use RDShade and it had a setting for this (it also had options to change other config file settings too), it does use a specific configuration file edit but I don't recall what it was. Unfortunately I am no longer able to use RDShade since one day when I loaded it up, it suddenly asked me for my activation code again, I entered it in and it didn't work. I tried contacting the developer for help but they were useless and didn't care to help me so I had to switch to Envshade which does not have this setting. I even tried web searches trying to find out how to do this but came up empty. October 4, 20241 yr The setting to use is in the prepar3d.cfg [SCENERY] //AUTOGEN_BATCH_LOD= Default is 2, setting to 1 will greatly increase the amount of autogen buildings, almost double in some instances and tends to result in too many buildings cramped together but does really fill out the world, valid values are 1 to 9 with 1 the highest. AUTOGEN_BATCH_LOD=1 It will result in the sort of density as shown in the pics when maxed out in the sliders as well. Cheers PS. The link below has a good number of useful prepar3d.cfg settings in the spolier.
