FSRealistic update

Featured Replies

You have a about Tab in the App with a link to the Webpage, but the App is not updating it self, at least my app here is not doing this.

Yes it does Bob. It says so directly from their website and the changelog. My last update came directly from the app itself

You said it was from the app, like there was a way that you could select something on the app to update it. You have to read the documentation in the app and it points you to the link that you posted. Not the same thing.

Hey Captains, rkApps here, found this thread and thought to drop some informative points:

1. FSRealistic auto update exist only beginning from v2.2.4, therefore, if you use an older version, you won't be able to auto update. You need to go to our downloads page, and manually download latest version (and from that point, auto update will work for you) - https://rkapps.shop/pages/releases

2. We are actively in touch with our customers and announce updates via our official Discord channel, you can find it here: https://discord.gg/dtxaBvY49E

3. Our official support channel is the live chat in our website. Feel free to jump in and say hi.

We will also track the threads here with hope to assist anyone who needs help.

Cheers!

I have V 2.2.42 installed. I don't see anything on it about auto update? How does it work?

Yes, 2.2.42 is latest, so no auto update needed indeed.

Good work, Bob. I hope the changelog and developer cleared things up so you don't have to argue with everyone about it.

As for the FS Realistic dev: Thanks for chiming and clearing this up. Being able to Update directly from the app like I did last time was really helpful!

I was not aruging with everybody. I was simply stating that there is no button in either the earlier verision that I had or the latest version. The only thing I found was  in the About/Manual, section with instructions ( not a button)_ in how to update the app, which is a link to this page. https://rkapps.shop/blogs/news/updates

Got it, no button, just a link in the manual..
