Wilco CRJ for FSX

" "If it is not displayed, contact us {wilco} so we can reset your download counter." "I've contacted Wilco, and hopefully they'll get things straightened out. What I don't get is why I would have recieved any other product other than what I ordered...I didn't have CRJ 2004 previously installed.

I downloaded the FSX upgrade from the support section of the Wilco home page (which I thought was only for the CD version). I then installed the FS9 version that Wilco provided me into my FSX directory (moving the folder from the /aircraft folder into the /simobjects/airplanes folder). I then installed the upgrade and took it for a test flight. That seems to have done it, all systems seem to be functioning. This is an excellent bird, I really had a blast on my first flight and look forward to many more. It's going to be a bit of a learning curve (I now realize how spoiled I have become by the sophisticated auto-throttle systems on the Airbuses and Level-D 767!), but I look forward to tackling that learning curve. Great job feelThere!

Take a look by chance are you able to push and control the fuel buttons? For some reason on mine , which I installed the same way as you a few of the buttons don't work.

Also does anyone know how to get cold and dark or do I have to shut it down and save it? Also do a cold and dark and start the APU and see if your NAV and BCN lights work. THanks

Hello Dave,I have the CD version, did you use the file crj2004_10.exe to install in FSX ?Do you find the file CRJ_FS2004_2a.exe as Wilco show on their web site?ThanksChristian

No I'm one of the "Had to email them so they can add it to my download page" people.

How is some companies get away with blatent advertising on this forum?

Windows 10 (x64) - X-Plane 11 - M/B: Asus ROG Maximus IX Hero - CPU: i7 7700k (@5.0GHz) - RAM: 32Gb Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 @ 3200MHz - Video: GTX1080ti - Cooling: Custom water loop (EK 140 Revo D5 pump/res combo, EK EVO CPU block, EK XE360 Rad)

I does seem that Wilcom can't get its act together. One thing I would do is fire my Webmaster. If they can't design and maintain a commercial Web site then why does anyone expect them to produce good products.Hey Wilco - hint, hint.fbPS I'm still waiting resolution on my problems with the site. I sent an e-mail and they responded with a lengthy set of steps to get the aircraft. Unfortunately the procedure didn't work because I already have a registered account. Go figure!

>Take a look by chance are you able to push and control the>fuel buttons? For some reason on mine , which I installed the>same way as you a few of the buttons don't work. You're right actually, the fuel buttons do not work. So I guess there are still a few systems inoperative with this backdoor method of getting things running.Hopefully I'll hear from Wilco soon to get things cleared up as CRJ_FS2004_10.exe is still the only file I have the option of downloading through my download account at Wilco.

Does anyone else in there aircraft not have functioning fuel buttons? When I'm doing a cold and dark start I can't turn on the fuel pumps via the buttons in the overhead. THanks

PowderBlue:yes, everyone has non-functioning fuel buttons as they are not modeled in the aircraft sim.the CRJ is a 'fleet' product. wilco fleet products are a simplified simulation of the r/w aircraft - designed to 'light the fires and go' v. 'flip switches, turn knobs, etc. and after a bit go'.all questions about flying feelThere designed aircraft can be asked on this forum -http://www.iemit.com/forum/forum.asp?FORUM_ID=27--edit: additional details--

Don't work for me too but I can use my Goflight module to turn on the fuel and start the engines.Christian

the fuel pumps have little to do with engine start on modern jet aircraft.the fuel cutoff switches are tied to the throttle levers (this is a design decision as modeling the visual from the r/w CRJ was a challenge). when the throttle are pulled back to idle 'right click' with the mouse over the throttle levers to shut down the engine. the reverse is needed to open the cutoff levers. with fuel flow 'on' the start is initiated on the overhead panel.see also from the CRJ support forum -http://www.iemit.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC...rms=fuel,cutoffhttp://www.iemit.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC...Terms=fuel,pumpthe CRJ forum is filled with information on the plane. at this time is not active for new posts, but the info can be searched -http://www.iemit.com/forum/forum.asp?FORUM_ID=4have a question about flying the feelThere designed CRJ, post in this forum -http://www.iemit.com/forum/forum.asp?FORUM_ID=27--

I tried the CRJ last night and I had to apply almost full trim to t/oIdea ?Thanks Christian

the CRJ isn't known for being a STOL aircraft. correct thrust setting and V-speeds are important. in my r/w experiences with the -200 i have always felt the aircraft took a lot of rwy for being such a small plane.the CRJ forum is filled with information on the plane. at this time is not active for new posts, but the info can be searched -http://www.iemit.com/forum/forum.asp?FORUM_ID=4have a question about flying the feelThere designed CRJ, post in this forum -http://www.iemit.com/forum/forum.asp?FORUM_ID=27--
