For all the apocalypse prophesisers, late-stage capitalism believers, Universal Basic Income advocates, humans' experiences in dealing with technological change provides multiple examples that blow apart their narratives – humans have time and again adapted to new technology and the new jobs that were created to support/use this new tech.

Can you imagine trying to describe a MRI technologist, a computer game developer, or an online influencer (yuk!) to people in the 1950s, let alone to people at the start of the industrial revolution?
